According to Earthday.org, the theme for Earth Day 2026 is “Our Power, Our Planet,” which emphasizes the collective responsibility we share to create and maintain an environmentally sustainable world.

We'd like to spotlight a charity near and dear to our clients, Judy and David: The Wood River Land Trust in Hailey, Idaho.

With the help of people like Judy and David, over the last thirty-plus years the Trust has preserved more than 27,000 acres of land, riverbanks, and wetlands, in addition to blazing trails for public access so all can reap the benefits of the region's landscapes. Here is a snip from their site:

As of March 2026, 79% of our clients opt for paperless delivery…down 3% from last year - zoinks! We've opened many new accounts this past year. Clients, please see below for instructions if you’d like to check your delivery preferences in the portal.

E-signature software like DocuSign has been instrumental in allowing us to make a positive impact on the environment. Everyone knows that it’s a quick, easy, and safe way to complete paperwork. What you might not know is how big of a difference you’re making!

This year, Arbor Day is on the 24th of April. Consider planting a tree as a gift in order to make an even bigger impact on the environment! In his career, Matt has planted a total of 208 trees in honor of his clients and their life events. We currently use A Living Tribute, which plants trees in national forests all around the US. We’d be more than happy to help you start the tree planting process through A Living Tribute if you’d like.

In a world as chaotic and ever-changing as ours, it may feel overwhelming to think of ways that you could make a positive difference. Could you march for a cause? Sure! In fact, a number of MORWM staff AND clients participated in a few of the No Kings marches over the last year. But we don’t have to paint signs and march for half a day to show up for the planet, or for each other. Pick up some trash in the park - that’s showing up for your planet. Shovel snow for the older couple around the corner - that’s showing up for your neighbors. Even the smallest action in times such as these can help bolster your spirit and the spirit of others.

If you want to stick with hard copies of your statements, we totally understand. There is just something special about physically holding them in your hands. Keep in mind, there is a $5 quarterly fee for postal delivery of documents. If you ever lose any of these statements, confirms, or forms, don’t worry. Copies of all correspondence can be found online through your Investor360 portal.
