Dear Clients and Friends,
It’s not uncommon for me to be asked about what our firm stands for and what differentiates us from other companies. Most people who ask this question expect an answer related to finance, but that’s only half of the story. Outperformance, financial security, attention, honesty, transparency, peace of mind… all of these characteristics comprise the fabric of our culture and commitment, but our purpose extends beyond these goals.
There are only 52 investment management firms in the entire country that have achieved the certification as a Benefit Corporation, and only one in the city of Philadelphia - us. While that is something that we are tremendously proud of, the overwhelming goodness that exists in those that we represent is just as visible within the MORWM family. MOR Wealth Management represents roughly 150 households, or about 100 families, and together we are among the most philanthropic group of individuals that I have ever come across. Likeminded people want to be around other likeminded people, and as a result, our staff and clients have two closely aligned goals in life - to do well for those who rely on us, and to do good for everyone else. It is this goodness of soul and character which sets us apart in our profession and our community.
With that in mind, let’s do this!!
On September 29th, MOR Wealth Management is sponsoring a bike team for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Bike MS: City to Shore Ride 2018. This ride has route options for ALL cycling abilities, from 25-180 miles. It will take us through the flat terrain and back roads of South Jersey to the blueberry fields of Hammonton.
We are 25 riders and we want to be 40! FORTY!
We have raised $65,000 and we want to raise $100,000!
At the end of the ride, you and 7,000 cyclists will roll into Ocean City to a crowd of cheering volunteers, family, and an atmosphere that couldn’t be more electric.
Folks, I have been volunteering for this event for the past two years and I am not exaggerating when I admit that the finish line brings me to tears! For those of you near Philly and New York: ride with us, celebrate with us, and change the world with us.
For donations, we are hoping for 100% participation from our clients and friends!! Some might think that’s too lofty a goal. With this family, I don’t think it is. That’s what we do, so let’s do it!
