Dear Clients and Friends,
This weekend, we are very proud to announce that MOR Wealth Management has been included in Forbes Magazine 2021 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, which was published in February. Below is a short description of the selection process.
The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria (gained through telephone, virtual and in-person due diligence interviews) and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like assets under management, client retention, review of compliance records, industry experience, revenue trends, and the inclusion of best practices in their approach to working with clients. Some of the qualitative considerations regarding services that the firms provide are the firm’s service model, investing process, fee structure (fee-based management earns more points than commission-based models), breadth of services, etc. “The algorithm is designed to fairly compare the business practices of a large group of advisors based on quantitative and qualitative elements. Data are weighted to ensure priorities are given to dynamics such as preferred “best practices”, business models, recent business activity, etc. Each variable is graded and represents a certain value for each measured component. These data are fed into an algorithm that measures thousands of advisors against each other.” Neither Forbes or SHOOK receive a fee in exchange for rankings.
From a pool of 300,000 financial professionals, the Forbes/Shook research narrowed the selection process to 32,725, based on high thresholds and qualifications. 15,854 advisors were invited to complete an online survey, and 15,818 interviews were conducted.
This is not the first major recognition our firm has received - and, God willing, it will not be the last. For many years, I have maintained that this type of honor should be shared by all of us - advisors, staff and clients - because it is directly related to the trust you have put into us, and the trust we have put into you. It is this trust that empowers your team here in the office to operate efficiently, safely, and to effectively circumnavigate undue risk. I am very proud of the success we have all shared, especially in light of significant challenges, both economic and political, in recent years.
With that said, I want to extend our deepest gratitude on behalf of everyone here at MORWM. We wish you a lovey and warm weekend.
Much love,
-Your family at MOR Wealth Management

The 2021 ranking of the Forbes’ Best–in–State Wealth Advisors1 list was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in–person and telephone due–diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively and on a ranking algorithm that includes client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, and quantitative criteria (including assets under management and revenue generated for their firms). Overall, approximately 32,725 advisors were considered, and 5,000 (approximately 15.3 percent of candidates) were recognized. The full methodology2 that Forbes developed in partnership with SHOOK Research is available at www.forbes.com. This recognition and the due–diligence process conducted are not indicative of the advisor's future performance. Your experience may vary. Winners are organized and ranked by state. Some states may have more advisors than others. You are encouraged to conduct your own research to determine if the advisor is right for you. SHOOK does not receive a fee in exchange for rankings.
