Dear Clients and Friends,
You all know Dan Levinson- our long-time employee and lifelong friend. He recently lost his father, Roy, who I've known since childhood. Please take a moment today and join me in celebrating Roy’s life and character, which overwhelmed everyone with humor, spirit, and loving kindness.
I had the opportunity to spend time with Dan, his family, and many of Roy’s friends over the last few days. We listened and laughed while friends and colleagues shared countless stories from years past. Dr. Levinson was an outstanding physician, the kind of professional I hope to be remembered as. He was a healer, a community leader, a philanthropist, and a personal guide to so many people that it’s not even possible to count them. While we all feel a void in our hearts during this time of mourning, I know that his memory will continue to guide us in every endeavor we choose to undertake.
If anyone would like to honor Roy, Dan suggests donating to Roy’s favorite charity www.mazon.org, a national organization fighting to end hunger among people of all faiths and backgrounds.
There is nothing in this world that is more fulfilling than love and humor - of these, he gave more than this world could have asked for. We give his wife Eileen, his sons Dan and Josh, and his daughter Ilana our sincerest condolences. We are excited for the spirits beyond to now have the pleasure of Roy's company.
