REQUIRED Reading for Clients. Client Login Security Update

Updated: Jul 27, 2022

Dear Clients and Friends,

To further ensure that our systems are safe and secure, we are going to be implementing multifactor authentication (MFA) for our client login portal, Investor360. This will be required for all users (mobile and desktop platforms) beginning September 9, 2021. I’m sure most of you have come across this option for other online platforms – maybe you enrolled, or maybe you decided it was not important enough to bother. We decided to send this to our non-client friends, too, to shed some light on why this added layer of security is important.

Why are we bothering with this?

To be honest, we’ve avoided this for quite a while because we handle money movements and wires internally. Therefore, even if someone were to guess your password, they would not be able to steal money directly from you. However, the illicit use of identifying information (such as account numbers, social security numbers, addresses, and email addresses) is a security threat that has continued to grow with time. Therefore, adding another layer of identity verification vastly improves your chances of avoiding hacks, which could compromise your personal information.

According to Microsoft’s Identity and Security Protection Group, "your account is more than 99.9% less likely to be compromised if you use MFA." Ninety-nine percent less! That being said, we’re doing this in the least intrusive way possible, while also maintaining our commitment to world-class security.

What Does This Mean?

When you log in to Investor360° on either your desktop browser or mobile app after September 9th, you will be asked to set up MFA. A set of instructions will appear on your desktop or mobile device screen to assist you with the setup process.

If you would like to reference these steps ahead of time, we have attached an Investor360° Mobile Reference Guide, which will show you how to sign up for MFA on desktop or the mobile app.

Note: After your initial set-up, you will NOT be prompted to provide MFA every time you log in. MFA will be triggered if you’re logging in from a new device, or if it has been 30 days since your last login.

P.S.- Want to Download Investor360° Mobile?

On your mobile device, you can download Investor360° Mobile from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Please note:

The web address for Investor360° has been updated from “.net” to “.com.” Although you will automatically be redirected if you go to http://investor360.net, we recommend all clients change their bookmarked links to www.investor360.com.

Questions?

If you have any questions, or if you would like to give feedback about Investor360° MFA, please call us at the office at 267-930-8300.

While this hasn’t been the most exciting weekend reading, at least you know we are hard at work every day for the sake of your prosperity and security.

Have a great weekend!

-Matt and the tech nerds in the home office.
